Join Dave Ryan, the Colorado Forward Party Executive Committee Chair, and Steve Pittman, a Longmont-based member of the Forward Executive Committee, at The Roost in downtown Longmont, for a one-hour discussion including refreshments starting at 11:15 AM, Friday, June 12th
We'll discuss the Colorado Forward Party's plans for 2026 and beyond and get your feedback on whether they actually address the reasons Colorado Forward exists.
Food for thought: Several recent surveys (Pew, Reuters, Gallup) show that the majority of Americans believe our democracy is in trouble. I think it is safe to say we believe democracy is the best form of government, our freedoms are important, and we seek healthy relationships, communities, and, writ large, politics. These beliefs and the things we seek are up to us. What do we need to do better together?
Because some questions are best explained in conversation, bring a few thoughts for discussion:
- How do we meet division with courage
- What can you not accept, and why
For those who provide the most interesting thoughts for discussion, I'll be giving out a couple of copies of Andrew Yang's most recent book, "Hey Yang, Where's My Thouand Bucks?" A collection of humorous true stories that provide a window into Andrew's life and many of the issues we face as a country.
I hope to see you in Longmont or at a future event. See the Colorado Forward Calendar for future events: Upcoming Events
