Our current Executive Committee (EC) members, elected a year ago, played a central role in our effort to be recognized as a minor political party in Colorado. We achieved minor party recognition on January 25th.
Now, as we set our sights on expanding our membership, supporting and building our candidate pipeline, and endorsing candidates who align with Colorado Forward principles, we are electing five new EC members to a two-year term using ranked-choice voting (RCV).
Four current EC members will serve one more year to ensure continuity and maintain momentum. Their positions will be open for election to a two-year term in 2025. EC members whose term is expiring can run again.
After the Election Assembly, the nine EC members will choose officers (Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary). We are an active team, and all EC members are expected to participate in the party's work.
