Jessica Sweeney loves a challenge; she most recently started an employee-owned small business. Prior to that, she worked as a Government Relations Director, where she was a lobbyist and advocate for paralyzed veterans. She also worked in the field of healthcare policy where she trained doctors and other professionals about human research protection. She started her working life as a nurses aide, which she found challenging yet meaningful. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Public Administration.
Her interest was piqued by the Forward Party after realizing that the two party system neglects to offer voters meaningful choices. She knows it’s time to create a party that can move people forward by focusing on the issues that dominate people’s lives.
