Bob grew up in a middle-class family in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his engineering degree while working to pay his own way, served as an officer on a nuclear submarine, and spent the last three decades building a global company from four employees to 700, and then gave it to the people who built it alongside him. He is not a career politician. He is running because the problems facing Colorado and this country are real, urgent, and require someone willing to do something about them.
