Celeste Landry for Colorado Secretary of State

Celeste Landry is running as a Forward candidate for Colorado Secretary of State to fight for your right to vote, better representation, and election integrity.

Celeste believes that the Secretary of State works for all Coloradans, regardless of political affiliation.  She has been deeply involved in politics and election reform since childhood, inspired by her father’s campaigns in Louisiana. Over the past several years, she has focused on protecting voting rights, improving representation, and strengthening election integrity.

She has reduced unreasonable ballot-access signature requirements, led county- and state-level nonpartisan groups advocating for better voting methods, and testified as a volunteer lobbyist at the state Capitol, the Title Board, and at Secretary of State rulemaking hearings on election issues.  She has worked with local, state, and federal lawmakers to support important changes that benefit all Coloradans.

Celeste has also tackled complex election issues, including protecting young primary voters' rights, advocating for the implementation of proportional ranked voting, correcting misleading reporting in multi-winner contests, opposing unprecedented and unconstitutional bills that disenfranchise voters based on party affiliation, and collaborating weekly with national election-integrity experts.

As Colorado’s Secretary of State, Celeste will defend the right to vote in Colorado, support communities that want to use better voting methods, and work with county clerks to ensure that our elections meet the highest standards of integrity.
