On January 14th, the Broomfield City Council met and voted on a resolution to change expense policies to be shared across council members.You can see the staff memo and resolution for Item 6C on the Consent Agenda. The resolution was part of an "omnibus" agenda with 9 other items.
Further investigation from Broomfield Taxpayer Matters has shown that 3 council members have exceeded their expense budget. To promote fiscal responsibility and accountability, many taxpayers are invited to sit in on the session to voice their concerns.
