City Council Member Robyn Carnes
City of Centennial (2022-2025)
Robyn Carnes (R) has a passion for community service and helping others, which led her to run for Centennial City Council. Working in a non-partisan environment, Robyn sought collaboration with the community and her colleagues to be responsive to her resident's needs. She is now running for a state senate seat in hopes of continuing her legacy of service to Coloradans in a greater capacity.
Originally from Iowa, where she learned a strong work ethic and the importance of humility, Robyn found her way to Colorado to build her life. Robyn has lived in Centennial for 20+ years with her husband, who serves in law enforcement, and two sons, who attend Littleton Public Schools. Her life outside of her professional commitments is just as full and enriching. Nothing beats a robust cup of coffee to kick start her mornings followed by a run with her faithful 79-pound companion and rescue from Dumb Friends League, Samson. She is her boys' biggest cheerleader at their sporting events. Robyn's life is a testament to balance, joy, and resilience, a constant source of inspiration.
As a mom, a law enforcement wife, a former VP of a national organization that fights trafficking, and a current Centennial City Councilwoman - a non-partisan seat, Robyn's learned the importance of balanced government.
The Colorado Forward Party supports Robyn Carnes as a candidate with integrity, honesty, and willingness to work with others (even from different parties) to best represent their constituency. In 2024, Robyn ran for a state senate seat in hopes of continuing her legacy of service to Coloradans in a greater capacity. While she did not prevail, she did very well. She may run again in 2026.
