Of the four seats on City Council up for election last week, all four were won by candidates in favor of ranked choice voting. We are in a strong position for the next step of our campaign, which will be to ask City Council to vote to refer ranked choice to the ballot, but your help is still needed.
If we are going to be successful in referring ranked choice to the ballot and in getting a majority of Longmont voters to vote to implement it, we need dedicated volunteers to help lead the effort. RCV for Longmont is holding a virtual meeting on Monday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. to officially kick off our campaign and discuss our next steps.
