A commitment to unity over division
- US politics has become defined by domination and villainization. CO FWD is committed to tolerance, respectful fact-based deliberation, and finding common ground so our democracy works for the common good.
Commitment to election improvements
- CO FWD is focused on promoting election reform in order to make sure our elections effectively represent the voter and not the party. Specifically, CO FWD supports rank choice voting, open primaries, and independent redistricting as ways to return our democracy to the voter.
All politics is local
- While CO FWD is part of a national movement, CO FWD is especially active in local politics, strengthening Colorado politics by endorsing reasonable and data-driven candidates of any party. CO FWD works to strengthen democracy from the ground up.
